Shannon Wiseman

Shannon Wiseman is the founder and Principal Consultant at Lenticular Financial Advisors. She started the company in 2019 after identifying a need for specialized valuation consulting services at alternative asset management firms during her tenure at GC Investment Management, which became her first client. Shannon spent six years as a portfolio manager at GC Investment Management in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, overseeing the monitoring and valuation of a diverse portfolio of private debt and equity investments, which grew from $6 billion to over $25 billion during her tenure.

Shannon’s passion for finance has deep roots, beginning with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with magna cum laude distinction, and concentrations in Finance and Insurance. During and after her time at Wharton, Shannon pursued challenging projects and positions in the finance industry in New York, working as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Lazard and a private equity associate at J.H. Whitney. Subsequently, she discovered a passion for building companies and solving the problems of growing companies while earning her MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She then began a career in real estate development, asset management and dispositions that lasted for several years in Wyoming and Nevada before joining GC Investment Management in St. Thomas USVI. All the while, the common thread in her experiences has been nurturing a deep and thorough expertise in evaluating the worth of varied entities and investments.

Shannon’s personal passions include skiing and biking in the Colorado mountains she now calls home, as well as spending time with her husband and four rescue dogs.
