Scott Carlson

Scott Carlson joined Lenticular Financial Advisors as a Senior Valuation Associate in 2020 and is based in Denver, CO. Previously Scott served as a Senior Manager at Plante Moran in the Forensic and Valuation Services practice. During his career he has completed a wide variety of valuations including analyses prepared for tax, financial reporting and transactional advisory relating to the valuation of non-marketable, illiquid securities. He has worked across industries and with companies ranging from Fortune 500 to emerging growth and investor-backed. Scott’s desire to continue learning about markets, securities and the impact of valuation to the decision making process pushed him to attain two additional accreditations – becoming a CFA® Charterholder and a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Prior to Plante Moran, Scott worked as a Director of Valuation at Arcstone Valuation, as an independent consultant and as an Associate Equity Analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners. Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Scott values time with his family and dog, enjoys golfing, skiing and getting on a river whenever possible to either fish or raft. In his down time, he finds reading and continual learning to be good food for the soul.
