Jon Shaw

Jon Shaw joined Lenticular Financial Advisors as a Senior Valuation Associate in 2020 after working as a valuation consultant for Lenticular and GC Investment Management (GCIM) for over two years. Prior to his consulting role, Jon was an Associate Director at GCIM in St Thomas, USVI, where he led valuation efforts for the healthcare portfolio comprised of approximately $5 billion in private debt and equity assets. With a diverse background in equity investments, debt trading and business/corporate lending, Jon brings a strong understanding of debt and equity markets. 

Healthcare has been a concentrated focus for Jon for over 15 years. Most notable was his role as the Director of the Healthcare Banking segment at a large regional bank, which included strategy, development and expansion of healthcare banking and related services. Jon developed and launched innovative and integrated financial, lending and operational solutions to healthcare practices and hospitals. Healthcare loan and deposit portfolios more than doubled and revenue tripled in his time leading the segment. 

While not the typical path to this field, Jon’s degree in mechanical engineering specializing in aerospace and time working as an engineer after graduating has translated into a strong desire and foundation towards understanding how companies, assets and markets operate. 

After 25 years living in the Arizona desert, Jon, his wife, and son traded in desert sand for ocean sand and currently reside in Kailua, Hawaii, enjoying all activities in and on the water.
