
Jing Chen
Jing Chen joined Lenticular Financial Advisors in 2026. He is a valuation professional with more than 10 years of experience valuing complex financial instruments and alternative investments. He works with private debt, private equity, structured credit, and other illiquid investments, providing valuation and portfolio monitoring support for large institutional investment portfolios. Prior to joining Lenticular, Jing was a Director at Golub Capital Canada, where he co-led the valuation team in the software vertical and oversaw the valuation of private credit and equity assets. Before Golub Capital, he was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Financial Instruments Valuation group in Toronto. He specialized in the valuation of complex financial instruments and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives and prepared valuations of private businesses, public companies, and financial instruments for financial reporting, tax planning, and merger and acquisition purposes. Earlier in his career, Jing worked at Ernst & Young on its valuation team.
Jing has extensive experience working with investment professionals, auditors, and corporate clients on complex valuation matters across a variety of industries and asset classes. He was a guest speaker at the CICBV Conference, where he presented on contingent consideration valuation. Jing holds a Master of Financial Mathematics from McMaster University and has been a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) since 2014.
